Job Summary
Surplus Lines Coordinator sought to bridge clients with InsCipher's Filing Services, Implementation, and Support teams. Responsibilities include coordinating and processing license updates, managing state credential changes, guiding entity transitions in the InsCipher Connect portal, obtaining state login credentials for newly licensed individuals/entities, proactive client outreach on licensing requirements, updating client profiles with system releases, developing documentation and SOPs, and collaborating across Filing, Implementation, and Support teams to reduce escalations. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 1+ years in insurance/surplus lines, 2+ years of customer service, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools (Intercom) and portal/ filing workflows is a plus. Compensation range: $54k-$60k per year. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, 401K with match, and personal-assistance programs. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience required
- 1+ years of experience in the insurance or surplus lines industry
- 2+ years of direct customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain clear process documentation and SOPs
