Job Summary

Conduct clinics for continuity of care, administer medications and nutritional treatments, and establish medical diagnoses for common health problems. Assess and manage minor physical and psychological problems while identifying potential patient issues through interpretation of laboratory data and physical exams. Direct staff implementation of policies, mentor less experienced personnel, and teach specialty skills to validate competencies. Coordinate community and hospital services, determine appropriate referrals, and represent the department in community outreach and quality improvement teams. Plan patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention, review medical records to ensure completed health maintenance documentation, and complete billing forms for services provided. Requires MD degree, 1-2 years practice experience, and Maryland state licensure.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
  • 1-2 years Practice experience
  • MD - Physician - State Licensure License to practice medicine in the State of Maryland

Desired Qualifications

  • Board certification in primary care specialty
  • Basic computer skills
