Job Summary
Teach Surgical Technology curriculum to students at CHCP's Houston Northwest campus, mentor students, ensure accreditation standards, apply operating room experience to practical teaching, collaborate with faculty to maintain a high-performance learning environment, monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback aligned with CHCP's standards. Requires an Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology or related field, CST designation, current CPR certification, credentialing from a recognized agency, and at least three years of operating room experience or teaching experience within the last five years.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology or a related field is required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) designation is required
- Current CPR certification is required
- Credential from a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency is mandatory
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Three (3) years of operating room experience or teaching in the field within the last five (5) years, or a combination of both
