Job Summary
The Surgical Technology Instructor is responsible for delivering course material per college curriculum, fulfilling administrative requirements including attendance and grading, and using student achievement data for program improvement. The instructor will engage in student service activities, provide student advisement, mentor new faculty, and ensure compliance with institutional standards. Candidates must possess an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), current National Surgical Technology certification, and 2+ years of relevant experience. This is a part-time position offering a salary range of $40-50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree; Bachelor's preferred
- Current National Surgical Technology certification
- CST or CSFA certification
- BLS certified (AHA preferred)
- Minimum (2) years' experience in OR scrub role or as an instructor in ST
