Job Summary
Prepare surgical operating suites with drapes, solutions, instruments, and supplies. Ensure equipment and instruments function properly while assisting with patient preparation, transport, positioning, and draping. Pass instruments to the physician during procedures and continuously account for all items. Receive and process specimens for laboratory delivery. Maintain a safe and efficient environment for surgical performance. This role supports the UCHealth mission to improve lives through learning, healing, and discovery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or Military Trained
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 1 year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles
- 13 week assignments available - extension options
