Job Summary
Prepare the surgical operating suite with drapes, instruments, and supplies. Ensure equipment functionality and assist with patient positioning and draping. Pass instruments to the physician while continuously accounting for instrument and supply counts. Process specimens for laboratory delivery. This role supports surgical procedures at UCHealth UCHlth Pikes Peak Reg Hospital in Woodland Park, CO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or Military Trained
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration (needs be through DORA)
- 1 year experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
