Job Summary
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures while anticipating surgeon needs and maintaining a sterile field to ensure quality patient care. Demonstrate knowledge of the specific procedure being performed. Requires one year of surgical technologist experience, BLS certification, and a surgical technology program graduation. Base rate is $24.00 - $30.00 per hour. Part of a close-knit, mission-driven team at Springfield Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
- One (1) year of surgical technologist experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (preferred)
