Surgical Technologist

Prepare equipment, supplies, and resources for operating room cases under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Handle instruments during procedures, gather necessary items, and communicate patient information to nursing staff. Practice technical components of patient care, implement plans of care incorporating physician preferences and diagnostic data, and maintain aseptic technique when managing supplies and equipment. Follow laboratory policies for specimen handling, document quality controls accurately, and serve as a resource for team members while prioritizing tasks and maintaining an organized environment.
