Job Summary
Senior Surgical Technologist role at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (Mass General Brigham affiliate) in Dover, NH. Full-time day position with 4 ten-hour shifts, minimal call, and competitive pay. Under supervision, assists in operating room setup, prepares and transports patients for surgery, passes instruments to surgeons, holds retractors, counts sponges/needles, and helps set up and maintain sterile equipment. Participates as an active member of the Patient Care Team, monitors OR conditions, and prepares patients for surgery including positioning and sterile draping. Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent; NH Medical Tech license; BLS; 2-3 years of surgical technologist experience (acute care) with 3-5 years preferred; CSFA and CST preferred. Salary range is $28.78-$43.12 per hour (annualized to $59,862–$89,690) with comprehensive benefits; Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- NH Medical Tech license required
- BLS required
- Experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting 2-3 years required and 3-5 years preferred
- Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Knowledge of SPD Sterile Room
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
