Surgical Technologist Preceptor

Clinical Rotation Preceptor for Surgical Technologist students; guides the student’s clinical learning experience and acts as a role model, directing goals for practicum, facilitating application of theory to practice, evaluating learning objectives, and ensuring an engaged, compliant instructional environment. Responsibilities include classroom and lab instruction, guaranteeing instructional materials are ready, conducting ongoing faculty assessment and professional development, maintaining required certification/licensure, and timely grading and reporting of student performance while upholding campus and regulatory guidelines.
