Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (OR)

Perform perioperative tasks as a scrub nurse in the Operating Room under the direction of a registered professional nurse. Gather instruments and supplies per surgeon preference, check sterility tapes, and open sterile supplies for assigned cases. Perform surgical counts, scrub technique, and gowning; maintain the sterile field and correct any breaks in technique immediately. Arrange instruments and basins for accurate counting, pass instruments safely, and confirm implants and fluid labels before accepting items on the sterile field. Break down setups, prepare instruments for sterilization, and participate in turnover activities while ensuring safe equipment use throughout the procedure.
