Job Summary
Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and understand surgical procedures, with a minimum of one year of operating room experience preferred. Work full-time weekdays in four 10-hour shifts within a single-specialty orthopedic hospital serving the Kansas City area. No mandatory call or weekends are required, with voluntary paid call available.
Required Qualifications

- work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and or the Nurse Manager
- Must understand surgical procedures
- the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon
- minimum of 1 year of operating room experience
- orthopedic preferred
- BLS required
