Job Summary
Provide sterile instruments to surgical teams during procedures and organize, arrange, and collect contaminated items at case completion. Assist circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies within a family-centered peri-operative environment. Work 10-hour shifts with short-call requirements. This role supports the Needham Operating Room team, offering a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates with over a year of direct OR experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
- A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program OR Individuals employed as surgical technologists in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013, OR Individuals who have completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.
- Working 10-hour shifts with short-call requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
