Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery Birth Center, utilizing the nursing process to support women and infants. Prioritize wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Maintain state Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration with at least six months of experience or program graduation. Hold current BLS or CPR certification valid for sixty days post-hire. This onsite role offers PRN flexibility with a pay range of $27.61 to $41.41 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or Military trained
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
