Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Labor and Delivery Birth Center units, utilizing the nursing process to support mothers and infants. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. This full-time night shift role requires a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Assistant with at least six months of experience and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or Military trained
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
