Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery Birth Center unit, adhering to AWHONN and AACN practice standards. Utilize the nursing process to prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based care while modeling proficiency for new staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team environment. This onsite nights shift role requires a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Assistant with at least six months of experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or Military trained
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
