Job Summary
Experienced Certified Surgical Technologist sought for Ambulatory Surgery Center. Responsibilities include securing and preparing supplies for surgical intervention, maintaining the sterile field in the OR, performing instrument counts before procedures, assisting in monitoring patients during surgery, and turnover of the OR for subsequent procedures. Must work closely with the surgeon and circulating RN. Requires knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique and a background in orthopedic procedures. Requires high school diploma/GED, certified surgical technologist, 3 years OR experience, BLS/CPR, and full vaccination. Part-time/PRN schedule with compensation around $50 per hour DOE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Surgical Technologist Certification from an accredited school or training program required
- 3 years experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room with a strong foundation in Orthopedic surgical procedures
- BLS and CPR certification
- Must be fully vaccinated
