Job Summary
Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures by handling and labeling specimens, preparing the operating room with sterile fields, passing instruments, and coordinating with sterile processing; supports nursing staff in patient care and ensures infection prevention and patient safety standards. Requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program and one year of experience; CST/TS-C certification is preferred. Shift pattern includes 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating weekends; there is a $15K sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience required
- Accredited Surgical Technologist program (required)
- BLS American Heart Association certifications (various) typically required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred (TS-C acceptable)
