Job Summary
Surgical Technologist II at ChristianaCare in Newark, DE. Full-time 40 hours weekly, 0700-1530 or 0730-1600 with possible extended hours. Performs scrub duties across neonatal to geriatric cases under the direction of a professional nurse, demonstrates proficiency in instrument handling and aseptic technique, and maintains safety standards. Serves as a preceptor for new employees, participates in unit activities, and collaborates with leadership to identify learning needs. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, and a minimum of 2 years of experience; BLS certification is required and CST NBSTSA certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- BLS certification
- Certification by AST/NBSTSA (CST) preferred
