Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient care during surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgeon, managing patient specimens, preparing sterile dressings, and participating in postoperative care. Required qualifications include CST certification, BLS certification, and registration with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians. The position requires effective communication, detail-oriented work, and adherence to infection prevention standards.
Required Qualifications
- CST certification required within one year of hire
- Currently registered with New Hampshire Board of Medical Technicians
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
