Surgical Technologist

Surgical Technologist position is full-time on-day shifts (6:00 am–6:30 pm with a rotating weekday schedule) at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, with on-call responsibilities. Under the surgeon's direction, the role supports the operating room by carrying out tasks such as sponging, suctioning, cutting sutures, and holding retractors; assists during operative procedures and provides general patient care and department upkeep as delegated. Requires CST/CSA/TS-C certification and BLS, plus a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Emphasis on sterile technique, instrument handling, EPIC use, communication with the OR team, and adherence to hospital policies to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
