Job Summary
Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) in the OR team supporting RN supervision. Responsible for preparing and providing sterile supplies, maintaining the sterile environment, managing instrument counts and equipment checks, ensuring turnover efficiency, and upholding patient safety and universal precautions. Performs duties under department policies, acts as a role model/preceptor, and participates in education and quality-monitoring activities. Requires 1 year OR experience or graduation from an approved Surgical Technologist program; BLS certification; Surgical Technologist certification preferred. Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Location: Phenix City, AL (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- 1 year OR experience or graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist Program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification required
