Job Summary
Surgical Technologist handles instruments and equipment during surgical procedures, maintains the sterile field, assists the OR team, prepares instruments and supplies for procedures, transports and transfers patients as needed, and supports nursing/ancillary departments. Requires one year OR training or experience, graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program, and BLS; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred with NJ CE maintenance. Eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- One year OR Training or Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Training/Certifications/Licensure: BLS
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred (if applicable)
- Maintenance of New Jersey State CE 15 CE per year
