Surgical Technologist, Full-Time, Day Shift

Verify surgery consent forms and bring patients to the assigned operating room. Pass instruments to the surgeon, anticipate needs for additional supplies, and perform appropriate counts with the circulator before incision and closure. Prepare and set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, medications, and solutions; help drape the sterile field, and secure dressings after incision closure. Check and obtain necessary sterile and unsterile items, clean instruments for terminal sterilization, and assist with room turnover and prepping for the next patient. Requires Associate Degree in Surgical Technology, BLS certification, and National Board or AST certification preferred. Full-time day shift at St. Helena Hospital in Napa Valley.
