Surgical Technologist, Full-Time, Day Shift

Facilitates physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment; maintains sterile field and supports the operative team throughout the procedure. Performs duties such as passing instruments, anticipating surgeon needs, maintaining counts with the circulator, preparing sterile dressings, setting up sterile tables, and assisting in room turnover, with emphasis on patient safety and quality care. Requires an Associate Degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; preferred acute care experience and certification through the National Board of Surgical Technologists or the Association of Surgical Technologists.
