Job Summary
Surgical Technologist role supporting physician performance during invasive/therapeutic/diagnostic procedures; manages instruments, supplies, and equipment; maintains sterile field and patient safety throughout operative procedures; passes instruments to surgeon; anticipates needs; ensures proper counts; prepares sterile dressings; assists with room turnover; requires Associate Degree/Certificate in Surgical Technology and BLS; preferred NBST or AST certification and CPR/BLS per AH policy; vaccination requirements and E-Verify compliance at Adventist Health.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
