Job Summary
Conduct scrub and circulating duties during interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and assisting physicians with fluoroscopy. Prepare procedure rooms, stock trays, and manage inventory while performing patient positioning, transfers, and medication administration within scope. Clean equipment post-procedure, inspect machinery, and handle minor repairs. Maintain medical records, process x-ray images, and archive patient data in compliance with regulations. Support sales efforts by educating dialysis clinics and identifying new accounts for Fresenius Vascular Care services. Work a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Surgical Technologist Certification
- 1 - 2 years' related experience
- Previous patient care experience
- Working knowledge of interventional equipment (including C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment), procedures and materials/supplies needed for each procedure
- Knowledge of sterile techniques
- Experience with special procedures utilizing a C-Arm
- Knowledge of universal precautions and personal protective devices to be utilized when operating radiology systems
- Successfully complete BLS certification
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand in a protective apron for up to 45-60 minutes
- Significant travel (up to 50%) within the assigned geography/region may be necessary
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
