Job Summary
Set up and maintain procedure rooms, stocking trays with supplies and interventional equipment before each case. Perform scrub and circulating duties during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy, maintaining sterile technique and assisting physicians with patient positioning, shaving, and medication administration. Clean equipment and machinery post-procedure, inspect instruments for working condition, and manage hazardous waste disposal. Prepare and label intravenous medications, process and archive x-ray images, and file patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Support continuous quality improvement by participating in regulatory surveys and implementing facility action plans.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Surgical Technologist Certification
- All appropriate state licensure
- 1 - 2 years' related experience
- Working knowledge of interventional equipment (including C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment), procedures and materials/supplies needed for each procedure
- Knowledge of sterile techniques
- Knowledge of universal precautions and personal protective devices to be utilized when operating radiology systems
- Successfully complete BLS certification
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand in a protective apron for up to 45-60 minutes
Desired Qualifications

- Experience with special procedures utilizing a C-Arm
