Surgical Technologist - First Assistant - Cecil Campus

Assist the surgical team as First Assistant CSFA under the surgeon, providing exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions to support safe operations for neonatal through geriatric patients. Perform intraoperative duties and pre/postoperative responsibilities, scrub on procedures from minor to major, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff. Maintain required credentials; report safety concerns; participate in nursing care plans and trauma/acute care standards. Schedule emphasizes a Day shift (M-F) with on-call weekends/holidays; required education includes high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited surgical technology program; certification by AST or CST and BCLS are required.
