Job Summary
Surgical Technologist on the cardiac call team at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, MN, working 36 hours weekly across day shifts with on-call after 6:30 pm on weekdays and a 24-hour on-call on weekends. Under RN supervision in the OR, provides instrumentation support, manages equipment and supplies, and assists with prosthesis handling; duties rotate among the cardiac core team. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month of hire
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred
- Shift rotation delivering 36 hours weekly across day shifts (7:00 am–3:30 pm and 10:00 am–6:30 pm) with on-call requirements including weekday evenings and 24-hour weekend on-call
