Job Summary
Surgical Technologist - CVOR with duties in the operating room: prepares the OR, maintains sterile technique, handles instruments and supplies, assists surgeon, places sterile drapes, participates in time-out, passes instruments, manages suction/sponges, prepares medications and hemostatic agents (excluding administration), assists with endoscopic and robotic-assisted steps, ensures sterility and safety, supports team communication and patient care, and contributes to achieving procedural goals in the CVOR. Requires BLS certification and Respirator Fit Test; education or equivalent experience as Surgical Tech (certificate or associate degree or 3 years experience).
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Certificate or Associate’s Surgical Tech degree OR 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
