Surgical Technologist CVOR (Surg Tech)

Surgical Technologist CVOR at INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus seeking full-time night shift (7:00pm-5:30am) with on-call obligations. Responsibilities include adhering to AORN, TJC, and other standards; coordinating services for specialty groups; collaborating with the OR team; sequencing cases, instrumentation, equipment, and staff; ensuring safety during all operative phases; facilitating transitions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively; assisting with room turnover and surgical pauses; identifying learning needs and developing educational materials; applying perioperative standards to improve practice; supporting the Clinical Director in addressing performance variances; scrubbing CVOR procedures; and staying current with new trends. Minimum qualifications include BLS, CST or TS-C, VA licensure, 2 years of cardiac-surgery experience, and a HS diploma.
