Surgical Technologist Certified Lead

Job Summary
Promotes patient safety as a member of the surgical team and assists with operative procedures and patient care. Leads and mentors staff, assists with delegation of assignments, scheduling, and training; ensures surgery preference cards are completed; runs the table and assists the surgeon on routine and basic surgeries while maintaining asepsis and infection control. Maintains instrument sets and sterilization methods, trains teammates, and supports coordination of care in high-stress environments. Requires one year of surgical technology experience and active CST or equivalent certification (BLS HCP and NBSTSA/NCCT/AAH credentials).
Required Qualifications
- One year experience in surgical technology
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery - Certified - NCCT or National Registered Surgical Technician (NRST) - AAH
