Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Birthing Center, utilizing the nursing process to support Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU units. Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team approach. Maintain current BLS or CPR certification through the start date and sixty days of hire. This full-time night shift role offers a 3-Year Incentive Bonus and comprehensive total rewards including tuition reimbursement and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or Military trained
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
- 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
