Job Summary
Process and sterilize instruments to the highest standards while assisting with supplies and equipment during ophthalmic surgical procedures. Anticipate surgeon needs, maintain strict sterile technique, and ensure quality patient care through cooperative teamwork with physicians and staff. Gain understanding of procedures performed while utilizing Microsoft Office or G-Suite for daily tasks. This part-time role at Northwest Eyes Renton ASC includes on-the-job training, a $500 signing bonus, and a competitive hourly rate of $23–$29.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience as an ophthalmic assistant
- Current CPR/AED
- Knowledge of sterile technique as it is applied to the operating room
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate excellence in communication skills and ability to convey ideas and information, verbally and in writing
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Effectively work in a team environment
- Demonstrated multitasking
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Windows or G-Suite
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- ACLS
