Surgical Technologist

Prepare surgical cases by creating and maintaining sterile fields, retracting instruments, and passing supplies to surgeons. Accurately check required equipment prior to procedures, assemble operative instrumentation, and perform sponge, needle, and blade counts with the registered nurse. Collect data on assigned cases, clean equipment and facilities, and transport patients according to unit schedules. Maintain neat sterile fields demonstrating aseptic technique and label solutions per established standards. Requires accredited surgical technology program, Surgery Technician certification, and CPR/BLS certification. Full-time position in The Dalles, Oregon.
