Job Summary
Provide intraoperative support as part of the surgical team: assist during operative procedures, prepare and maintain sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, assist with patient positioning and room setup, maintain surgical supplies and equipment, and support inventory management and medication distribution. Adhere to infection control and safety standards; collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing teams. Specialty areas include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Thoracic, ENT, Podiatry, Urology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, and Robotic Surgery. 36 hours/week, 12-hour night shifts, on-call coverage (1 in 9 rotation), on-site location in Salisbury Fruitland area, MD; Full-Time Direct Hire with a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a certified Surgical Technology program preferred
- Operating Room Technician with on-the-job experience considered
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred
