Surgical Technician

Maintain medical instruments, supplies, and sterile fields during surgical procedures under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Assist in selecting, assembling, and opening instruments while ensuring aseptic techniques and Universal Precautions are followed. Transport patients, case carts, and equipment before and after cases, then participate in OR suite turnaround by cleaning and managing case carts. Ensure proper handling of specimens and cultures, anticipate the surgeon's needs, and provide patient support during anesthesia administration. Complete an accredited surgery technologist program, hold a BLS certificate, and possess one year of clinical experience.
