Job Summary
Prepare for and manage surgical cases at the Eye Surgery Center by ensuring sterile field integrity through aseptic techniques and promptly addressing any breaks in sterile technique. Collaborate with the circulating nurse to maintain accurate counts of sponges, instruments, and sharps in accordance with department guidelines. This role requires a high school graduate with a Surgical Technology program diploma and CPR certification, offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time, 40-hour day shifts. Required Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technology program
- CPR required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a surgical setting preferred
- Preferred Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) or certification from NCCT
