Job Summary
Set up and maintain a sterile field, assist the surgeon as necessary, and support the circulating nurse and surgical team. Maintain familiarity with the function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. Initiate responsibility for care of specimens and perform other related duties as assigned. This Per-Diem role is based on-site at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, MT. National Certified Surgical Technologist certification is required upon hire, along with GI endoscopy experience.
Required Qualifications
- graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech Program
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
- GI endoscopy experience
