Job Summary
Support the full surgical experience across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care in a fast-growing aesthetic practice. Responsibilities include preparing instruments and the operating room, assisting during procedures, verifying patient/procedure/site, labeling medications and solutions (including tumescent), maintaining a sterile environment, educating patients and caregivers on procedures and discharge instructions, supporting post-op calls, and scheduling follow-ups while auditing patient records. Requires knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instruments, strong attention to detail, effective written/verbal communication, MS Office (Excel), ability to interpret instructions, basic math, and prior patient-care experience with physicians/caregivers. Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. No night shifts or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of sterile techniques
- Surgical instruments and instrument trays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and labeling standards
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, including basic report writing
- Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel
- Able to interpret written, diagram, and verbal instructions
- Basic math proficiency
- Experience in patient care and working with physicians and caregivers
- Regular use of computer, phone, and other office equipment
- Lift and move up to 25 lbs
- Good vision and hearing in a surgical setting
