Job Summary
Prepare and maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, and ensure surgical equipment functions properly during procedures. Assist the surgical team with routine patient care activities under supervision. Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, and complex plastic cases. Maintain strong communication skills and the ability to multitask while working independently. Requires Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) certification and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification. Day shift, part-time, with on-call and holiday rotation required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school
- 2 3 years of experience in a main OR
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Day shift
- Part Time
- On call required
- Holiday call on rotation
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
