Job Summary
Scrub for robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, and complex plastic cases while maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and ensuring equipment functionality. Assist with routine patient care activities under supervision of nurses and physicians. Maintain strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to multitask independently. Requires Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) certification, current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification, and at least two years of OR experience. Day shift, part-time, with on-call and holiday rotation. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school
- 2 3 years of experience in a main OR
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Day shift
- Part Time
- On call required
- Holiday call on rotation
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
