Job Summary
Scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, and complex plastic cases. Prepare and maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, and ensure surgical equipment functions properly while assisting with routine patient care under supervision. Work independently as a Certified Surgical Technician on day shifts with mandatory on-call and holiday rotation. Requires 2-3 years of OR experience and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school
- 2 3 years of experience in a main OR
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Day shift
- Part Time
- On call required
- Holiday call on rotation
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)
- Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
