Job Summary
Assist physicians in providing quality dermatologic care by maintaining medical records, reviewing histories, obtaining consents, and calling in prescriptions. Schedule surgeries, obtain pre-authorizations, and perform patient callbacks while adhering to sterile techniques and vital sign protocols. This Certified Surgical Technician role requires at least one year of dermatology experience with surgical expertise, current CPR certification, and the ability to travel up to eight locations with the provider. Hourly compensation includes 401(k) matching, paid time off, and up to 40% discounts on products and services.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH
- At least one year of Dermatology experience
- Surgical Experience REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs is required
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology and be computer literate
- Must be a team player and dedicated to patient care
- Must be available to travel up to 8 locations with the Provider
Desired Qualifications
- Cosmetic and Plastic Surgical Experience PREFERRED
