Surgical Technician Orthopedics

Prepare and maintain sterile fields for obstetrical procedures including cesarean sections, passing instruments, and ensuring equipment functionality. Scrub in, maintain aseptic technique, and anticipate team needs by passing sutures and supplies while performing counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments. Assist with routine patient care activities, vital signs, transport, and hygiene, plus decontaminate and restock surgical instruments post-procedure. Support emergency responses for stat cesareans, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal resuscitation. Requires CST certification, surgical technician training, and one year of surgical experience preferred. Alternating weekends schedule.
