Job Summary
Prepare and maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, and ensure surgical equipment is available and functioning properly during procedures. Assist the surgical team with routine patient care activities under the supervision of nurses and physicians. Scrub service lines including robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, and complex plastic cases. Requires a Surgical Technician training program completion, NBSTSA certification, and current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification. Day shift, part-time, with holiday call on rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school
- Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification with American Heart Association
- Day shift
- Part Time
- Holiday call on rotation
- Strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases
- Must be flexible
- Able to multitask
- Able to work independently
