Job Summary
Assist physicians in providing quality care to patients, maintain medical records, and review patient histories. Obtain appropriate consents, call in prescriptions, and perform patient callbacks. Schedule surgeries, obtain pre-authorizations, and manage travel up to eight locations with the provider, with mileage included. Requires certification as a surgical technician, at least one year of dermatology experience, and surgical experience. Current CPR certification and knowledge of vital signs, sterile technique, and medical terminology are essential. Required Qualifications
- MUST BE A CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH
- At least one year of Dermatology experience
- Surgical Experience REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of vital signs is required
- Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be computer literate
- Must be a team player
- Must be dedicated to patient care
- Must be available to travel up to 8 locations with the Provider
Desired Qualifications
