Surgical Technician II

Prepare the operating room, set up surgical equipment and instruments, and maintain a sterile field while reporting any breaks in aseptic technique. Pass instruments, suture products, medication, and sponge materials to the surgeon, assist with retracting tissue and organs, and apply electrosurgical current as directed. Perform surgical counts with the RN according to policy and procedure. Adapt quickly to support complex surgical procedures and collaborate effectively within the OR team. This role requires a Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent certification, two years of surgical experience, and current CPR.
