SURGICAL TECHNICIAN - FT

Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for surgical procedures in hospital operating rooms. Disinfect and assemble necessary instruments, ensuring all equipment functions correctly while placing sterile solutions within easy reach. Assist the surgeon and Circulating Registered Nurse by cleaning, shaving, and disinfecting patient sites, positioning patients on the operating table, and monitoring vital signs. Maintain a clean, safe environment adhering to OneCore Health safety standards and support Materials Management in supplying adequate instruments. Follow established procedures for reporting unsafe situations and demonstrate commitment to continuing education for professional growth.
